HUMILITY
Love throws us off balance from time to time bring us to our knees.
Surrendering our ego, saying sorry, admitting we get frightened and owning our fears keeps us honest and this heartfelt act of surrender gently kisses and soothes our tender heart with HUMILITY.
Showing a loved one our worst, then apologising and owning our human frailties re-centres our heart and deepens our gratitude.
HUMILITY is created not because we are supposed to think less of ourselves, but because it is healthier sometimes just to focus primarily on our own needs, just a little less. If we are obsessing only about ourselves life will bring us to our knees to re-align our heart and rebalance our focus.
Yes we need to self-care but when it is at the expense of also caring about those we love for too long, we will lose our balance in life and relationships.
Enduring loving relationships require both parties to surrender at times in HUMILITY this maintains a healthy balance to give and receive love.
So let us remember from now on that HUMILITY is about respecting the strength it takes for a heart to surrender in love; for love is the only thing worth falling to our knees for; our heart opens like a flower when we do.
Lotsa love Cynthia xxx
